As an active performing artist who regularly performs live and releases her own original music, Esther brings her genuine love of music into every lesson. She encourages children to experiment, express themselves creatively, and build confidence as they discover their own musical abilities.

Experienced instructors from the Blackbelt Academy come directly to Kindervilla, introducing children to the fundamentals of Kung Fu in a playful, age-appropriate way.

In partnership with the Seeger Ballet School, children discover the beauty of classical ballet through music, movement, and joyful exploration. Guided by Ms. Seeger, an experienced ballet instructor and founder of her own ballet school, they are introduced to the fundamentals of this timeless art form in a warm, encouraging environment.

Through thoughtfully designed lessons, children develop posture, balance, coordination, and graceful movement while strengthening their concentration, body awareness, and self-confidence. Every class encourages them to express themselves through dance while experiencing the joy of learning and moving together.

With patience, kindness, and a gentle approach, our hairstylist takes the time to make every child feel safe and cared for. What might otherwise feel unfamiliar becomes a positive experience—one that helps children build confidence, develop independence, and proudly admire their new haircut.

Dirndl & Lederhosen Celebration

Each autumn, Kindervilla celebrates one of Germany’s most beloved traditions with our Dirndl & Lederhosen Celebration. Children and educators dress in traditional Bavarian attire and spend a joyful day filled with music, movement, laughter, and shared experiences.

The celebration includes a traditional Bavarian breakfast, classic games, dancing, and the decorating of colorful gingerbread hearts—along with countless happy moments spent laughing, celebrating, and enjoying time together.

Our focus is not on recreating a folk festival, but on introducing children to cultural traditions, celebrating community, and experiencing the joy of sharing meaningful moments together. One of the most anticipated traditions is our annual Trick-or-Treat Adventure. Children visit our other Kindervilla locations and, along the way, surprise neighbors and even a few Kindervilla families with cheerful cries of “Trick or Treat!” It’s a wonderful way to bring our community together while creating unforgettable Halloween memories beyond the walls of Kindervilla.

St. Nicholas’ Visit

Each year, one of the most anticipated highlights of the holiday season is the visit from St. Nicholas. Carrying his large sack filled with thoughtfully prepared St. Nicholas stockings, he visits each Kindervilla location, bringing joyful surprises, wide smiles, and a sense of holiday magic that children eagerly look forward to.

During our Holiday Bakery, children spend a cozy Saturday together at Kindervilla, transforming our kitchen into a festive holiday bakery. With plenty of laughter and excitement, they mix, roll, cut, decorate, and, of course, sneak a taste or two along the way. Together, they create delicious holiday cookies—and even more importantly, joyful memories that make the season feel truly magical.

While the children are busy baking, we give parents a few precious hours to enjoy for themselves. Whether it’s finishing holiday shopping, strolling through a festive Christmas market, or simply relaxing with a warm cup of mulled cider or hot chocolate, this time is their gift to enjoy however they choose.

During our relaxed and welcoming Coffee Mornings, we open the doors of Kindervilla and invite families to experience a morning alongside their children. Parents join our Morning Circle, discover favorite activities, take part in creative projects, and enjoy an authentic glimpse into their child’s everyday life at Kindervilla.

Movie Night

These memories are lovingly woven together into a unique film for each Kindervilla location, celebrating “A Day at Kindervilla.”

At our annual Movie Night, families come together for a truly unforgettable evening. With popcorn, refreshments, and the excitement of a real movie premiere, parents and children experience the film together for the very first time on the big screen.

There is one day each year when the entire Kindervilla community comes together.

Our annual Summer Festival is the joyful highlight of the Kindervilla year. Held on a Saturday just before summer break, it brings together children, families, and educators from all of our Kindervilla locations for an unforgettable day of celebration, connection, and shared memories.

In a relaxed summer atmosphere, everyone enjoys a delicious barbecue prepared by our Kindervilla Kitchen, interactive activity stations, creative workshops, games, music, and countless opportunities to laugh, connect, and simply enjoy being together. Children embark on new adventures with friends, parents get to know one another, and individual families come together as one vibrant Kindervilla community.

More than just a celebration, our Summer Festival reflects everything Kindervilla stands for—community, kindness, belonging, and the joy of creating meaningful moments together.

Creating the Schultüte

The most exciting new beginnings are the ones we prepare for together.

As our children’s time at Kindervilla draws to a close and the first day of elementary school approaches, we invite our graduating children and their families to a very special creative afternoon. Together, parents and children design their own Schultüte—the traditional German school cone filled with surprises that celebrates the exciting beginning of elementary school. Each one is as unique and colorful as the child who creates it.

Our educators thoughtfully prepare all of the materials and guide the afternoon with inspiration, creativity, and encouragement. But this event is about much more than crafting. As families paint, decorate, and create together, they share meaningful conversations, make lasting memories, and watch the excitement for the first day of school grow with every finishing touch.

At the end of the afternoon, every child takes home more than a beautifully decorated Schultüte. They leave with the joy of having celebrated this important milestone together with the people who matter most.

Off to School! – The Great Kindergarten Send-Off

Every great journey begins with the courage to take one small step.

As our oldest children prepare to leave Kindervilla and begin elementary school, we celebrate this exciting milestone with one of our most cherished traditions: Off to School!—our joyful graduation celebration.

Together with families, we look back on years filled with friendship, discovery, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Every child is celebrated individually for the unique person they have become and the exciting journey that lies ahead. It is a day filled with pride, gratitude, and joyful anticipation.

The highlight of the celebration is our beloved Great Kindergarten Send-Off. One by one, each graduating child is playfully “launched” out of Kindergarten by our educators—landing safely on a large cushioned mat with laughter, cheers, and applause from family and friends. It’s a joyful tradition that symbolizes an important milestone: the moment a Kindervilla child is ready to spread their wings and begin the next exciting chapter.

As our celebration comes to an end, we say goodbye—not with sadness, but with confidence. Confidence in everything the children have discovered, the friendships they have built, and the resilience, curiosity, and kindness they carry with them into elementary school and beyond.

Lantern Making & Lantern Walk

As the days grow shorter, one of the most magical evenings of the year begins.

Our annual Lantern Festival brings together two cherished traditions that children and families eagerly look forward to each autumn. During a special family craft afternoon, parents and children create their own colorful lanterns together. As imagination comes to life with every brushstroke and every glowing design, families create not only beautiful lanterns, but lasting memories as well.

Around St. Martin’s Day, we gather once again for our traditional Lantern Walk. Accompanied by music, children and families carry their glowing lanterns through the neighborhood, sing traditional lantern songs, and enjoy an evening filled with warmth, light, and togetherness. It’s a beautiful tradition that captures the magic of the season and delights children and adults alike.

The evening concludes with a cozy gathering, where families enjoy warm drinks and seasonal treats while sharing conversations and reflecting on a memorable evening together.

Birthday Parties at Kindervilla
